Clinics & Services

• Treatment Room - available during normal surgery hours Monday to Friday.  The practice operates an appointment system for the treatment room.  Please contact reception to make an appointment.

• Minor Surgery - by appointment with the doctor.

• Child Health Clinic - your health visitor and doctor check your child's health and development at eight weeks and four years. The first immunisations and the pre-school booster are usually given at this clinic.

• Immunisation Clinics - immunisation/assessment clinic every Tuesday from 14:00 – 16:00. Four year old assessment/vaccination clinic on the second Thursday of each month 14.00 - 16.00.

• Diabetic Clinic - by appointment with the practice nurse.

• Asthma Clinic - by appointment with the practice nurse.

• COPD Clinic - by appointment with the practice nurse.

• Well-Woman Clinic - We encourage women between 25 and 65 to attend for discussion regarding lifestyle, cervical smear test and, if required, breast examination. Please attend when you receive an appointment.

• Flu Vaccine Clinic - October/November/December - notices will be displayed in the surgery. Vaccination given by the treatment room nurse/practice nurse. This vaccine is particularly recommended for patients with heart, lung or kidney problems, diabetics and the elderly as well as pregnant women.

• Smoking Cessation Clinic - by appointment with the practice nurse.

• Weight Reduction Clinic - by appointment with the practice nurse. Consultation is conducted on a one-to-one basis.
